Walk in emergencies will be treated by the severity of the emergency and scheduled appointments may experience delays or rescheduling.

In Case of an Evacuation Emergency: (During COVID-19 these are subject to change)
Our kennel is on a first come - first serve basis. A volunteer employee will remain with pets unless total evacuation is required.
In case of evacuation to a shelter, the following shelters accept pets:

Only dogs, cats and birds are accepted, no reptiles, exotics or farm animals.
Owners are required to stay with pets at all times. Proof of vaccinations are required. Carriers are required with pets remaining inside at all times. Leashes are to be used when walking outside. Proper waste removal is required. Pet food is not provided.
We recommend having a disaster readiness kit for your pet. This should include:
- Veterinarian's name, address, phone number
- Microchip information
- Vaccination records updated yearly with list of all medications
- Non-expired medications in properly labeled original containers
- Food and water bowls (preferably non-breakable)
- Packages of food (kept fresh regularly)
- Waste bags.An extra collar, leash and/or harness
- Crate and bedding
- Small, non-disturbing toys
